Busy bee...

I've been very busy in the last ten days. The semester is beginning tomorrow and I have a lot of stuff to do. Preparing the cursus for the autumn's seminars, marking late copies, etc. On the knitting front, I've finished the P.E.I. girl's cardigan and will try to go outside today to take a photo of the garment. (Lately I posted horrible photos taken at night. I didn't find yet a way to properly use the flash of my Canon...)

I've just started a scarf for me to wear this winter. It's in a very soft handyed Misti Alpaca (strangely, I didn't found any references on the internet to link to this particular variety of Misti alpaca.)

Some other projects on the needle:
  • a pair of Trekking toe-up socks which I named the "Scary socks" in honor of the last novel of the Harry Potter romanesque suite;
  • a pair of Nashua cotton socks, also toe-up, not named yet...
  • an almost finished Lacy Hug-Me-Tight shrug from Knit two together;
  • a Dorina (discontinued) fine cotton cardigan;
  • another pair of Trekking toe-up for my youngest son, finished (I just have to find time to weave in the ends...)
  • etc.

Hope, hope, hope... In the maëlstrom that is coming (it's always like that at the beginning of the academic year), I HOPE to be able to find time to knit and create... Wish me luck!
